Day 5 -Creating Congruency and Inspiring Inspiration

I give myself permission to:

  1. Research and Experiment to find work that energizes me and allows me to provide great opportunities for my family.
  2. Simplify my life by focusing on three passion themes (Playing/Recording Music, Photography, Health & Fitness)
  3. Find a way to help/inspire others through Blogs, Vlogs, Websites, Music, Photos..ideally within the themes I am passionate about


Actions:  Answer these questions:

    • Play guitar and master songs

    • Play air drums/guitar
    • Look at landscape photographs and photos that can communicate emotion
    • Take photographs

    • Kite Surf?
    • Play racketball
    • Cruise the oceans
  • When do you feel inspired?
    • Reading about/seeing other people’s stories of transformation/passion
    • Beautiful days
  • What are the times when you have felt most alive (like you are flying)?
    • Holding my boys and seeing how much they change and grow
    • Majestic places…mountain views, scenic overlooks, Looking down from an airplane, looking up at the stars, looking out at the ocean
    • (Wind in my face) Riding motorcycle, boating, biking, roller blading, skiing, sky diving
  • Who inspires you?  Why?
    • My wife because she always seems to know what to do next
    • Jef O’Reily because he is genuinely kind and giving
    • Adam Ward because of his ability to not only concur endurance races, but also dedicated so much training time to them and because he can engage and inspire people about innovation.
    • Ted Toussant and his ability to think differently as well as to set goals on something and complete them.
    • Keith Urban for his ability to play guitar and sing and for always seeming nice to everyone
    • Denzel Washington/Matt Damon/Samuel L Jackson/Harrison Ford for their ability to act convincingly in their role.
    • Regina Kramer for starting two businesses
    • People who do major challenges for a cause like bike from Neenah to DC.
  • List the times where you were inspired to take some kind of action (signed up, made a change etc:)
    • Career change
    • Finding passion
  • What are the things you are curious about learning more about?  The things you’ve always said “I would love to ….”
    • Learn to be a great musician
    • Learn to talk amazing photos
    • Be an innovation expert
    • Have a major fitness transformation
    • Speaking a new language (German)
  • Who do you envy?
    • People that have a community and are well known within it
    • People that are truly passionate about something

  1. That is truly awesome what you are experimenting with. It’s crazy how many people just stick with the norm and what “they are supposed to do”. Keep being unique and find what works, most importantly what makes you happy!
